Once the heartland of worldwide Christian missions, now England is a major mission field.  England is no longer a bastion of the evangelical faith that so many believers, Baptist and Protestant alike, of yon yesterday have shed their blood for.  Postmodernism and secularism have swallowed England up and now she lays in spiritual darkness and hopelessness.

England was the land of great stalwarts like William Tyndale, to whom we owe much of our precious translation of the Authorized Version to, and mighty missionaries like David Livingstone, J. Hudson Taylor, and William Carey who took the gospel to Unreached People Groups (UPGs) like Africa, China, and India. England now stands in desperate need of missionaries herself.  The gospel light in England is barely flickering.

The Lord in His infinite grace and mercy has called my wife and I to England to proclaim the gospel and to plant New Testament Baptist Churches.  We will be going to Skelmersdale, Lancashire, England and will pastor the Skelmersdale Baptist Church (a church plant herself of 11yrs; the last 3 without a pastor).  Skelmersdale Baptist Church will be our sponsor as well.  By the Lord’s good hand, we will seek to proclaim the gospel message of the Lord Jesus Christ to all who live in Skelmersdale as well as the many towns in Lancashire county.  There are over 500,000 souls within 30 miles of Skelmersdale.

Furthermore, we will endeavor to plant New Testament Baptist Churches throughout England (and the UK for that matter).  There are numerous towns with populations over 25,000 where there is no gospel witness at all (not to mention the scores of smaller towns).
